The BelView development enjoys a prime position within the Brussels CBD (Central Business District). The project is located along the Rue Belliard, one of the main arteries in the European District, and is adjacent to one of the very few landscaped public urban plazas in the area. Parc Léopold, the main park in the district, lies opposite.
The project will provide the area with an integrated mixed-use ensemble that replaces a vacant lot that had been abandoned for decades. BelView offers 29,002 square metres of residential area, including 9,561 square metres of social housing, and is located between the European Parliament and the European Commission. For companies that need to be in a strategic position close to the nerve-centre of Europe, the development provides 5,301 square metres of office space.
As a mixed-use ensemble, BelView also offers 1,762 square metres of retail space and public facilities. Furthermore, it contributes to the ambition of the Brussels authorities to make the European district a vibrant place for both living and working once again. Upon completion, the 25-storey, 84.05 metre high BelView tower will become the tallest project ever built in the Brussels European district. Erected around central landscaped garden, the building will also be the only project in the area to provide such luxurious amenities.
